Also represented are the Villages of Hartville, East Canton, Meyers Lake, East Sparta, Waynesburg, Magnolia and the Police District of Uniontown. The Court district serves a total population in excess of 200,000 residents.
Jurisdiction of the Court includes criminal cases, traffic cases and civil cases. Inclusive of all case categories mentioned, the Court has averaged approximately 36,000 cases filed annually for the past few years. Over $5,500,000 has been receipted and disbursed to the appropriate government agencies, annually from court costs and fines.
COURT RULES

Court rules in Ohio's local courts govern case procedures within their jurisdiction. They guide filing requirements, scheduling, evidence submission, and courtroom decorum. These rules align with the Ohio Rules of Civil and Criminal Procedure, ensuring the courts' consistent and efficient operation, and providing directives for attorneys, litigants, and court staff.
